When should I start planning?
I like starting about two months ahead, but a shorter timeline can still work. Begin with the date, guest list, budget, and the few details that matter most to your family.
Do we need a big party or a theme?
No. A small gathering, a favorite meal, or a few photos can mark the occasion beautifully. A theme is simply an optional way to help you choose colors and details.
What if I only have a week?
Choose your priorities first. Make one shopping list, ask for specific help, and cut the extras that won’t fit. Include cleaning and food preparation in the same time budget as decorating.
How is the planner different from the free checklist?
The free checklist helps you remember the main tasks. The paid Etsy planner gives you worksheets for the details: spending, shopping, food, home prep, helpers, and a schedule. Its optional AI companion is separate from the PDF and does not automatically fill it in.
