What You Can (and Can’t) Wash in the Baby Brezza
This guide shows how my pump parts physically fit in the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro and how I arranged them. Before using a wash, sterilize, or dry cycle, check the cleaning instructions for your exact pump model and parts. Some manufacturers recommend hand-washing, even when the pieces fit inside the washer. Keep pump tubing, motor hubs, and electrical components out of the washer.

🍼 Medela Swing Maxi & Freestyle Hands-Free Cups
The Medela Swing Maxi and Freestyle Hands-Free collection cups were a fantastic fit out of the pump systems I tested in the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro.
I was able to fit both wearable collection cups, the included milk bottles, and the bottle caps in the same wash cycle, making cleanup after a pumping session incredibly convenient.
This is how I loaded everything:
Top Rack
- Flanges
- Caps
- Diaphragms
- Small silicone pieces
Bottom Rack
- Collection cups
- Milk bottles
Everything fit comfortably without feeling overcrowded, and there was still good room for water circulation.

This was my first time opening this set and let me just say I can’t wait to try them! the silicone flange parts feel comfortable, and I love that they came with inserts.
💛 Willow Go Pump Parts in the Baby Brezza

This was the tightest fit I observed to far, but all parts do fit.

⚠️ How I Got the Willow Go to Work in the Baby Brezza
At first, my Willow Go parts did not seem compatible with the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer. The wash cycle struggled initially with the standard tall center tube setup.
After troubleshooting, I switched the Baby Brezza to the SHORT center tube configuration instead. Once I made that change, the Willow Go containers and silicone parts fit much more comfortably and the cycle ran normally.
The short tube setup shown below is the arrangement I used for my Willow Go parts. Check your pump’s care instructions and the updated Baby Brezza pump-rack information below before choosing your setup.
Browse Willow Go replacement parts. This opens Amazon search results, which can include different models and third-party parts. Check the exact pump model, part size, and seller before ordering.
Another loading option: Baby Brezza now sells a Breast Pump Rack for the Bottle Washer Pro. It replaces the original rack system and is designed for pump parts, including wearable collection cups. Baby Brezza’s current washer instructions direct wearable-pump users to this rack. Check the rack details and your pump manufacturer’s cleaning instructions before choosing a setup.

🍼 Momcozy M5 Compatibility
The Momcozy M5 collection cups fit surprisingly well in the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro. In fact, there was still plenty of extra room left over for flanges and other larger pump parts.
Important cleaning note: Momcozy currently recommends hand-cleaning M5 parts and says dishwasher safety hasn’t been verified. My photos show how the parts fit; they don’t confirm that Momcozy approves this cleaning method. Follow the instructions for your exact model.
The only small challenge I ran into was keeping the collection cups standing upright while loading the washer.
Here’s the trick that worked for me:
💡 Turn the collection cup upside down and hook the notch over one of the Baby Brezza tray spokes. It keeps the cup stable throughout the wash cycle and leaves plenty of room for the remaining parts.
Once I figured that out, the M5 became one of the easiest wearable pumps to organize in the washer.
How to Get the Cleanest Wash
- Use wash + dry only when your pump parts’ cleaning instructions allow it
- Space items evenly so air can circulate
- face duck bills pointing up or water will collect in them
- Avoid overcrowding small silicone pieces

🧼 How I Usually Load Pump Parts in the Baby Brezza
After testing multiple pump systems, I’ve found that the easiest way to make everything fit well (and dry properly) is to separate larger parts from smaller silicone pieces.
Here’s the setup that works best for me most of the time:
Bottom Rack
I usually place the larger items on the bottom, including:
- bottles
- flanges
- wearable pump containers
- collection cups
- larger hard plastic pieces
The bottom gives these bulkier items more room for water circulation and helps prevent overcrowding.
Top Rack
The smaller parts usually go on the top rack or in the small parts basket, including:
- inserts
- duckbills
- diaphragms
- valves
- membranes
- silicone seals
Keeping the tiny silicone pieces separated on top helps them wash more evenly and prevents them from getting trapped underneath larger items.
Pro Mama Tip: Leaving a little space between silicone parts makes a HUGE difference in drying performance — especially for wearable pumps with lots of small pieces.
💛 The Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro was absolutely critical to my ability to pump for an entire year for my little one without using formula. Troubleshooting & Common Questions
❓Why aren’t my parts drying fully?
Make sure you’re not overloading the racks — leave airflow gaps. Try angling some parts to allow water to flow out during washing. You can finish drying with a silicone drying mat.
❓Can I add dish soap?
No. Use one Baby Brezza detergent tablet per wash. Don’t add liquid dish soap, household dishwasher detergent, or pods. Follow the Bottle Washer Pro manual for your model.
❓Is it safe for tubing?
Keep pump tubing out of the Baby Brezza. Follow your pump manufacturer’s instructions for your exact model’s tubing; don’t assume it should be hand-washed.
❓Do I need to descale the Baby Brezza Washer Pro?
Yes. The washer’s descaling reminder comes on after 20 washes. Hard water may require more frequent descaling. Follow the manual’s descaling directions. Here are the Baby Brezza descaling tablets.
❓Which filter should I clean or replace?
The intake mesh filter and HEPA air filter have different jobs. Lift out the intake filter and wipe residue from its mesh, following the manual. The HEPA air filter is a separate replaceable part underneath the washer; Baby Brezza recommends replacing it every three months.

My Real-Mom Recommendation
Mom Hack Approved: More time to pump, less time to wash — the Baby Brezza is the one splurge that truly pays off.
